The document is aimed at those conducting asbestos surveys, those who commission asbestos surveys and those with specific responsibilities for managing asbestos in accordance with Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2006. Following the recent HSE publication of HSG 264 – the Asbestos Survey Guide, a brand new asbestos surveying, industry-focused blog has been formed. The blog has been developed to further promote HSE’s message that client need to ensure they select competent organisations and that this can clearly be demonstrated by selecting UKAS accredited or certified surveyors for asbestos surveys.
